Responsibilities
- Provide critical care in Level I Trauma Center emergency departments
- Assess and stabilize patients across all age groups
- Administer medications and emergency interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Document patient encounters in Epic EMR systems
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and hospital protocols
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Active NC RN license (compact state eligible)
- Minimum 2 years ER experience
- BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications
- BSN or higher preferred
- Proficiency in electronic medical records
- Strong assessment and triage skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in high-stress environments
