Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in diverse clinical settings (ER, ICU, Med-Surg)
- Adapt quickly to new facility protocols and electronic health systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to HIPAA compliance standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
- Manage caseloads efficiently across varying shift lengths
Qualifications
- Active NY RN license (compact license preferred)
- 1+ years of recent acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (PALS/NRP a plus)
- Flexibility to work 8, 12, or 16-hour shifts
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, changing environments
