Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and comprehensive health assessments.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient medical records accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Adapt to various clinical settings and diverse patient populations with a focus on quality improvement.
- Participate in shift handovers, unit orientation, and staff meetings.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alaska or compact license eligibility.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
