Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient health and record vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient care services using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Maintain a safe and clean healthcare environment by following infection control standards and protocols.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri or a compact state.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different nursing units and patient populations.
