Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards of practice.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, ensuring strict adherence to safety guidelines.
- Document patient care, observations, and outcomes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition or medical emergencies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to new environments and team dynamics.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with electronic medical records.
