Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed providers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health records.
- Respond to medical emergencies with urgency and professional composure.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida (or compact state eligibility).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree (ADN) accepted with experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- CPR/BLS certification required (ACLS preferred based on specialty).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude and a passion for patient advocacy.
