Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in hospital settings with remote charting capabilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per facility protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records (EHRs)
- Educate patients and families on healthcare procedures and discharge planning
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and state nursing regulations
- Participate in telehealth consultations when applicable
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New Jersey or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification (required)
- Telemetry/ICU/ER specialization preferred
- Experience with Epic or Cerner EHR systems
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently with remote support
- Flexibility for 13-week assignments
