Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per facility protocols and physician orders
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and facility-specific regulations
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health conditions
- Participate in shift handovers and maintain clear communication channels
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS, ACLS, and other required certifications based on unit
- Graduate from accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or MSN)
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation
