Responsibilities
- Deliver Exceptional Patient Care: Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based nursing interventions.
- Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient continuity.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, assessments, and treatment plans.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to code blue situations and medical emergencies within the unit.
- Patient Advocacy: Educate patients and families on discharge planning and ongoing health management.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or medical facility setting.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Specialty: Med-Surg, Telemetry, or ICU experience preferred for this specific assignment.
- Travel Readiness: Ability to travel and adapt to different healthcare environments and schedules.
- Soft Skills: Strong critical thinking skills, compassion, and the ability to work well under pressure.
