Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize medical urgency
- Provide telehealth and in-person triage services across multiple specialties
- Collaborate with physicians to develop patient care plans
- Document clinical encounters accurately in EMR systems
- Manage patient flow and coordinate with ancillary departments
- Delicate emergency protocols and crisis intervention
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Virginia (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong proficiency in Epic or similar EMR systems
- Exceptional communication and de-escalation abilities
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
