Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments using standardized triage protocols
- Prioritize emergency cases based on acuity and clinical judgment
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide patient education on care pathways and home management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless care transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training programs
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
