Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine medical urgency
- Provide telephone triage services for incoming patient calls
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Implement emergency protocols for critical situations
- Delicate patient education on home care and follow-up procedures
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania
- 3+ years emergency department or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Bachelor's in Nursing preferred
