Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone and in-person to determine urgency and appropriate level of care
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and triage documentation
- Provide clear patient education on treatment protocols and home care instructions
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient flow
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient conditions during assessment
- Comply with HIPAA regulations and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Florida (or compact state)
- Minimum 3 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic EMR systems
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
