Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone triage and determine urgency level for care
- Collaborate with physicians to prioritize patient cases based on acuity
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with detailed documentation
- Provide clear medical guidance to patients and family members
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient flow
- Implement emergency protocols for critical situations
- Conduct follow-up calls for discharged patients
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX)
- Minimum 2 years emergency room or triage experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficient in Epic EHR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations
