Responsibilities
- Assess patient triage levels using Emergency Severity Index (ESI) protocols
- Perform rapid head-to-toe physical examinations and vital sign analysis
- Coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Document clinical findings accurately in EMR systems
- Educate patients on care pathways and discharge instructions
- Manage critical patient flow during high-volume periods
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
