Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity and prioritize emergency cases using standardized triage protocols
- Provide accurate medical information to patients via phone and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) with precise documentation
- Implement infection control and safety procedures in all interactions
- Train new staff on triage procedures and department protocols
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Texas (required)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication abilities in English and Spanish (preferred)
- Proficiency with Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
