Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions using standardized triage protocols and prioritize care based on acuity
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient flow
- Accurately document patient assessments and vital signs in EMR systems
- Provide clear patient education on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Manage emergency response protocols during critical situations
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Florida
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong assessment skills in emergency medicine
- Proficient in Epic EMR systems
- Exceptional communication and de-escalation abilities
- Spanish language proficiency preferred
