Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and determine medical urgency using standardized protocols
- Prioritize patients based on acuity levels and available resources
- Provide expert guidance to patients and families during critical moments
- Collaborate seamlessly with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana (IN RN)
- Minimum 3 years emergency department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills in high-stress situations
- Proficiency with Epic EMR systems
