Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions using digital triage systems and prioritize emergency cases
- Utilize telemedicine carts for remote consultations with specialists
- Operate advanced diagnostic equipment including ECG monitors and point-of-care testing
- Document patient encounters using EMR systems with voice-to-text capabilities
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams using integrated communication platforms
- Maintain equipment calibration and troubleshoot technical issues
- Participate in trauma response with provided mobile crash carts
Qualifications
- Active California RN license with BSN or higher
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or triage experience
- ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency with digital triage systems and telemedicine platforms
- Experience operating advanced diagnostic equipment
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
