Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments to determine acuity levels
- Provide telehealth and in-person triage services
- Collaborate with physicians on critical case prioritization
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Train new staff on triage protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Handle sensitive patient communications with empathy
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida (or compact state)
- 3+ years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Experience with Epic EMR systems
- Exceptional communication abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
