Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity using electronic triage systems and medical protocols
- Coordinate with physicians and specialists for rapid patient prioritization
- Utilize provided telemedicine equipment for remote consultations
- Document clinical observations in EMR systems with precision
- Train on new medical technologies and triage methodologies
- Maintain calm demeanor during high-volume emergency situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless care transitions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Virginia (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EPIC preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
- Experience with telemedicine platforms a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
