Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments using telehealth equipment and digital triage systems
- Prioritize patient cases based on severity using advanced diagnostic tools
- Coordinate with emergency departments and specialists for critical cases
- Document patient encounters accurately in our EMR system with provided equipment
- Provide expert guidance to patients via phone, video, and in-person triage
- Train on and utilize specialized medical equipment including ECG monitors and vital sign trackers
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient flow
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Virginia with minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and digital triage systems
- Strong assessment skills for diverse patient populations
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to operate advanced diagnostic equipment (ECG, pulse oximetry, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and crisis management abilities
- BSN or higher degree preferred
