Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments using standardized triage protocols
- Operate provided diagnostic equipment (EKG, pulse oximeters, vital monitors)
- Coordinate with ER physicians and specialists for critical cases
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using our EHR system
- Train staff on new triage technologies and equipment
- Implement patient flow optimization strategies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN license
- Minimum 2 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EPIC preferred)
- Experience with triage scales (ESI, CTAS)
- Ability to operate diagnostic equipment under pressure
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
