Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telehealth and in-person patient assessments using evidence-based triage protocols
- Prioritize patient cases based on acuity and urgency following established clinical guidelines
- Provide clear, compassionate communication to patients regarding care plans and next steps
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care coordinators to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and peer review processes
- Stay current with latest medical protocols through ongoing education and training
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (CA RN)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or telephone triage
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and telehealth platforms
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Outstanding communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within interdisciplinary teams
