Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient calls using standardized protocols
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
- Provide initial medical guidance over phone and in-person triage
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff for patient disposition
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to all hospital policies and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (required)
- Active NJ nursing license (or willingness to obtain)
- BLS certification (will be provided if not held)
