Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone and electronic triage systems
- Prioritize urgent cases using clinical judgment protocols
- Coordinate care between patients, providers, and emergency services
- Document encounters accurately in Epic EHR systems
- Educate patients on home care and follow-up procedures
- Collaborate with physicians on complex case management
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and data security standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio or compact state
- Minimum 1 year ER or urgent care experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
