Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and determine appropriate level of medical urgency
- Provide accurate medical advice via phone and telehealth platforms
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care
- Document patient encounters with precision in EHR systems
- Educate patients on home care and follow-up procedures
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Missouri RN license (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with Epic EHR systems preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
