Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize medical urgency
- Provide telehealth and in-person triage consultations
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate care pathways
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Delicate crisis intervention for high-acuity cases
- Coordinate patient transfers and emergency services
- Train junior nursing staff on triage protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts
- 3+ years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Exceptional communication abilities
- Experience with Epic or EMR systems
- Ability to work rotating weekends
- BSN or higher preferred
