Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize high-volume patient calls using electronic medical records (EMR).
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments to determine the urgency of medical needs.
- Provide triage guidance and patient education over the phone.
- Document all patient interactions and clinical findings accurately.
- Coordinate referrals to appropriate medical providers, specialists, or urgent care facilities.
- Monitor patient outcomes and follow up on pending care instructions.
Qualifications
- Active RN (Registered Nurse) license in North Carolina (required).
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a triage or call center setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening abilities.
- Proficient in using computerized EMR systems.
