Responsibilities
- Accurately assess patient symptoms and medical history using standardized triage protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and ER staff to prioritize patient care based on acuity levels
- Document patient encounters in electronic health systems with precision and timeliness
- Provide clear communication to patients and families about treatment timelines
- Participate in continuous training to maintain emergency medicine certifications
- Support emergency response during high-volume periods and disaster scenarios
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
- Minimum 1 year clinical nursing experience (ER, urgent care, or telehealth preferred)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (or willingness to obtain during training)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during high-stress situations
- Commitment to completing our paid training program (6 weeks)
