Responsibilities
- Assess patient urgency using standardized triage protocols (ESI) in fast-paced ER/Urgent Care settings
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to prioritize patient care flow
- Document clinical assessments accurately in Epic EHR system with 98% compliance
- Provide patient education on emergency procedures and discharge instructions
- Monitor vital signs and recognize life-threatening conditions per ACLS/PALS guidelines
- Maintain efficient patient throughput while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada or compact state
- 1+ years ER, Urgent Care, or telemetry experience preferred
- ACLS/BLS certification (will be provided if needed)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Proficient in EHR documentation systems
- Commitment to completing paid triage certification program
