Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and reactions to treatments
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and maintain sterile environments
- Ensure patient safety through proper fall prevention and infection control protocols
- Deliver emotional support and companionship to patients and families
- Maintain accurate patient records and report changes in condition promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
