Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient behavior, and physical condition
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning to ensure patient safety
- Support nurses with clinical documentation and equipment preparation
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and medical supplies
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Qualifications
- Active Illinois CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience in a healthcare setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
- Clear criminal background check and TB screening
