Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to patients including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of medical equipment
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Support infection control protocols and safety procedures
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop care plans
- Ensure a clean and comfortable patient environment
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Clean background check and drug screen
- Valid Texas driver's license (if transporting patients)
