Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to patients including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Collaborate with RNs and LPNs to develop care plans
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Support emotional well-being through patient interaction and engagement
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Ohio driver's license (if required for travel between facilities)
