Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report patient changes to RNs
- Assist with medication administration per protocol
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient environment
- Serve as a compassionate advocate for patients during overnight hours
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am)
- Passionate about geriatric or post-acute care
- Background check and drug screening clearance
