Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by interviewing them, recording medical history, and measuring vitals.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth patient flow.
- Instrument and prepare examination rooms with necessary medical instruments and supplies.
- Draw blood, administer medications as directed by providers, and perform point-of-care testing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Follow strict infection control protocols and sterilization procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families, answering questions and addressing concerns.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical office setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
