Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and report any changes in patient condition immediately to the nursing staff.
- Assist patients with daily living activities and personal hygiene.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current State of Maryland CNA Certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs using proper body mechanics.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
