Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with patient mobility and transfer using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Document patient care services and observations accurately in electronic health records.
- Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) license in Arizona.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not always required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
