Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Vital Monitoring: Accurately monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assistance: Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and needs.
- Hygiene: Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients in accordance with facility protocols.
- Documentation: Update patient charts and records with daily observations and care provided.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: No prior experience necessary. Must be willing to learn and complete CNA training if not already certified.
- Skills: Basic computer skills and ability to use medical equipment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical assistance.
- Soft Skills: Compassionate nature, patience, and strong communication skills.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
