Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and feeding plans.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and patients' families regarding patient status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in New York.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not always required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
