Responsibilities
- Delight patients with exceptional bedside care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs, patient responses, and care activities
- Safely transport patients between departments using proper techniques and equipment
- Assist with patient mobility, positioning, and range-of-motion exercises
- Support infection control protocols by maintaining clean and sanitized environments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active North CNA certification with valid license
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficiency in electronic health record documentation
- Passion for patient-centered care and teamwork
