Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Vital Monitoring: Accurately monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Hygiene & Safety: Ensure patients maintain high standards of hygiene and safety at all times.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and care logs.
- Communication: Effectively communicate patient changes and needs to the nursing staff and families.
- Assistance: Support the nursing team with procedures and patient transfers.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current Texas State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Training: Completion of an accredited CNA training program.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home healthcare setting is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attitude: Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to work well under pressure.
