Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient intake/output, and medical information accurately.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment by following health and safety standards.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians immediately.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by the Registered Nurse.
- Document patient care services in accordance with facility policies.
Qualifications
- Current Florida CNA license and state certification required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and families.
- Physical stamina to perform job duties effectively throughout the shift.
