Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient responses, and health changes
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop individualized care plans
- Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable patient environments
- Offer emotional support and companionship to residents and families
Qualifications
- Active Kansas CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in long-term care
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Passionate about elderly care with a patient-centered approach
