Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform sterilization protocols and maintain infection control standards
- Take accurate dental radiographs and diagnostic impressions
- Manage patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for procedures
- Provide chairside support and patient education
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
Qualifications
- Active Indiana Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Valid Indiana state radiography permit
- Proven track record in HIPAA compliance
