Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Greet patients, verify demographics, and prepare them for examinations with precision and empathy.
- Clinical Support: Assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Lab & Admin: Perform basic laboratory tests, administer injections, and handle specimen collection.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using our EMR system.
- Communication: Effectively communicate test results and treatment plans to patients and physicians.
- Compliance: Adhere to strict HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in phlebotomy, EKG, and electronic health records (EHR) software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- License: Valid Georgia Medical Assistant license required.
- Professionalism: Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
