Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, measurements, and basic screenings for patients.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and minor office surgeries.
- Prepare patients for exams and ensure a comfortable environment.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Handle patient intake, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Phlebotomy experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Reliable transportation required.
