Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, patient screenings, and obtain medical histories accurately.
- Assist physicians and nurses during examinations and minor procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
- Administer injections, medications, or vaccines under strict physician supervision.
- Manage patient records, update Electronic Health Records (EHR), and ensure data accuracy.
- Greet patients, answer phones, and provide exceptional front-desk customer service.
- Collect and process lab specimens as directed by medical staff.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; a degree in medical assisting is a plus but not mandatory.
- No prior experience is required—we provide paid training for the right candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient comfort.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs when necessary.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred (or willing to obtain).
