Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the attending physician or charge nurse immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with state laws and facility protocols.
- Document patient medical history, symptoms, and care plans accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and perform necessary interventions to stabilize patients.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are mandatory.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, though new graduates may be considered.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and make critical decisions.
